Completed the basic snap-fitting step and decided to add a little more to it. First real attempt to use pla-plates to improve the detail of a model, though now that I think about it… seems kinda silly to do this to a RG kit since they’re pretty detailed already.

Probably should have planned out where to put the pla-plates, some look a bit out of place. The process of pla-plating is kinda tricky since most of the time I have to carefully apply the tiny piece of plastic with poly-cement without screwing up or making a huge mess of things.

One final thing to show off, just a small mod I did to the head unit. Replaced the original clear plastic mono-eye with a small plastic gem which are normally used to decorate cards. Quite impressed how reflective the gem is, it’s almost like a small LED if placed in the correct lighting conditions.
