1/1 Chinese Bootleg Gundam Statue

Oh lol, I just had to put this up. It appears that the Chinese want to take their production of bootleg gundams to a whole new level. The copy of the 1/1  RX-78-2 Gundam (though don’t expect it to be accurate to scale *snickers*) is located in a theme park in Sichuan. Of course it is safe to assume that Bandai has in no way approved of this statue construction, like all bootlegs that come out of China.

Yeah what I hate about them most is the production of TT Honli and other crappy gundams that consists of cheap plastic that break easily. And this of course is another kick off copying the tokyo one just that it is not that attractive and they changed colour for it, and this one looks like paper made. btw i have added your link to my blogroll. And thanks for the comment at mine! Mind adding mine to your blogroll?

Yea… TT Hongli really have quite the nerve for dishing out crap plastic kits. I think the statue is made of plastic, much like the plastic used to make those plastic playhouses when we were kids. Still funny seeing that they went as far as constructting the drat thing.

Anyways, I appreciate you adding me to your blogroll and I’m more than happy to add you to mine.

Thanks ^^ but it seriously look paper like because *i figured out why* it is made in china!! nah just kidding because it have weird curves at inappropriate places and it looks blocky as in no partial bends (sorry if you cant understand my explaination) and lacks in panel lines and details and is too glossy

China ppl always hate Japan. If you read history, Japanese kill civil more than 100,000 each day in China during WW2. The hatred to Japanese will never vanish till now. If you know what I mean …

I can understand that Nanking Incident will forever remind everyone why the most Chinese won’t get along with the Japanese, but I highly doubt the construction of this statue has anything to do with it. The Chinese will bootleg pretty much anything popular regardless of whether the IP is Japanese or not. It’s not like they’re doing it to spite them.
